This Model Is Equipped With A Keyboard Lock Feature. To Unlock The Keyboard Press And Hold The "Menu" Button On The Front Panel For 10 Seconds. Then See If You Can Access That Menu Function.

No picture with blinking yellow light
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Mitsubishi is NO sound
If picture is OK, there should be sound. If not, check whether the audio 'Mute' function is ON or not. If it is ON, set it to OFF. If it too is found OK, check and replace damaged component/s at its audio output stage circuit. Check the speaker too; for damage. If you wish to

Mitsubishi WS-55807, screen removal / cleaning
Hi, thank you for visit fixya.
Pull out the speaker cover ( slow toward your self).
You will see screws in the middle , take it out ( maybe is 4 o 6 screws), be careful with any wires connect to panel control. Disconnect any connector to panel control. Pull toward your self , slow and slide up . Use a fine brush for best result, use glass cleaner liquid.
