HI,. Try this link: http://www.eserviceinfo.com/ If the dimension has decreased vertically, surch for bad electrolytic capacitors in the vertical deflection circuit. Look for loose solderings on the pcb foorprints of the vertical final integrated circuit. Good luck

I have tv a cs

Sounds like the picture tube is burnt out. It can happen when the television is left in direct sunlight. There is no cure for it, you can however put in a darker area and over time it may clear itself up.

Screen is dark, image barely seen. Sound is ok.

Hello,

I suspect the bulb of your TV. When a TV bulb is weak, it make the screen dark. So, have you ever changed the bulb of your TV since you've started using it? I think its high time you replaced the bulb.

Good luck.

Screen is black except for thin line in middle of screen

The problem is in the vertical section of the main board. Bad capacitors and maybe the vertical IC. If you are not inclined to be a tech you will have to take it to a shop.. I don't know what they may charge but I normally get $69- $89

Green tint I can't seem to fix

Hopefully someone on here has a manual and can tell you exactly where the tint controls are. Also need to try adjusting the color level, turn it clear down so you have a black and white picture.
Is the picture still green over the screen with the color control
set clear down to black and white? If it does, you might
have an issue with the green gun going out or problem in the
circuitry to it.

By the way, the best way to adjust the picture settings on a
tv are to first turn the color control clear down, then adjust
brightness and contrast for best black and white picture, then
bring up the color level to where it should be and adjust the
tint for best red/green ratio.

Dominant blue

Can you post to the party who has too much green how to adjust the video adjustments? They need to know so they can see if
its just a simple adjustment.
In your case, first turn the color level clear down to where you
have a black and white picture. As in the case of too much green,
question is if the picture is black and white or if there is a color
on the screen so its blue and white? I suspect it will be which
is typical when the guns start to fail. Likely the green and red
guns are weak in output. There are screen adjustments in the set that a tech can set up that may help some, but the only real fix is to replace the guns which is expensive and requires a complete allignment. All 3 guns need changing to get it back to spec and it is a good idea to replace the flyback for reliability. Get an estimate and likely you can replace the set for the same money.

Our Mitsubishi TV is flashing a blue screen every 10-15 seconds?

Two questions for you.
1. What is the model of the set?
2. What sources are you trying to watch? Are you on cable, satelite, dvd player, vcr,
which of these are you watching and does the problem occur on all sources or just
certain ones?

Not having the above information, I will give you some information. Blue screen comes up
on these sets because of a loss of video signal. First thing you should do is to check your
cables between your sources to see if a wire has pulled partway or now completely out
say between satelite receiver and set. You might replace the cables in case you have
a broken wire inside the cable.
Some sets have the ability to go into the menu and shut off blue screen so you can
then see what the video looks like even if it is low level. From there you can do some
diagnostics by wiggling or connecting/ disconnecting the cables.
Beyond this there could be a loose connection internal to the set or a part failing, but
be sure to check for those cable connections first as that is the most likely cause. Also
it is good to try it with another video source or test the source on another set to be sure
that the video source hasn't developed a malfunction.

Hello Barbara76,
Is this a Horizontal line (inch or two) across the screen, if so
the fault could be either a faulty Vertical IC,Faulty Electrolytic

Some channels missing...

Try to tune the tv in manual search method. If you get means store it manually. Nothing to worry. This is due to malfunction in AUTOMATIC FREQUENCY CONTROL COIL weak. Even you won"t get channels in manual tunning method. Change tuner and afc coil. Problem solved.
