Most likely the Main Chassis Assembly needs to be sent to Mitsubishi for refurbishing. It has been a real issue. You may want to call Mitsubishi a call at 1800-332-2119 to see if they could help with the repair cost. They also could help find a local Mitsubishi Service near you.
Hope this helps,

and the service center is right, in a simplistic manner of explanation!! Unplugging may have worked the first time and before the capacitors popped. They were possibly just at the overheated stage and when cooled ,recovered enough to work again for a while.
Now though they are at the end of their life and even possibly split and afunctional. There are more than a few capacitors involved with this, they are only the obvious components to be seen on the power and sustain boards in the unit. Just replacing the board is not the solution in 90% of the cases. There are other factors that caused them to blow in the rest of the circuitry that need attention. This is not a DIY, but requires a professional intervention to ensure that you don't use board jockey tactics in the hope of a cheap fix. Too many amateurs think that the way to save money by asking questions getting an answer and then think "I can do that!" Only to find a week later they are in the same position as before because they didn't realise that its more than just a few capacitors on one board. The set also requires the retuning of the convergence as well as other visual display controllers.

No display or sound on Mitsubishi WD-52725
This is a DLP They have issues with the color wheel, the winding sound could be from this color wheel. If it stops spinning it will cause the tv to shut down. DLP is a mechanical display process. If you are handy and understand electronics you could replace this yourself. If not i would let a tech handle it.
