Best Settings for Picture Quality, Coloring, and Lighting

Factory setting. Do a reset to this TV, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Mitusbishi WD-52327 tv cannot figure out how to get the digital cable box to come on screen?

Connect RCA wires (yellow, red, white) from the box's "out" to the tv's Input 1 or 2 on the back input panel of the tv set. If you don't have RCA's you may use a RGA- jumper wire (cable wire made into a 4 ft segment by the tech or buy a short cable wire from the Walmart, Target, or Goodwill store) Connect this wire to the "cable in" on the tv and the other end to the "cable out" on the box.ADDITIONALLY make sure you have the right input settings selected on the tv with the input selection you make with the wire connection you choose.

I think the fan is bad, it makes a lot of noise.

cmurray12,

You do not have a bad fan, you have a bad optical disc drive. See my tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4160054-replace_color_wheel_in_dlp_projection_tv for the replacement procedure and where to get the parts.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Hi Brent, Mitsubishi's have a problem with the power supply and the Light Engine which incorporates the Digital Module of which it has to be purchased as a complete assembly. I sincerely believe you should not put that kind of money into a dlp set. The cost of the light engine is in the area of $1100.00. Your last idea is the best one.
