Its in the very front of the metal encased chassis block underneath the sloped top shield. The Power cord plugs directly into the power board.

I have a Misubishi DLP wd 52825. The timer light

Most likely the issue is bad capacitors. You need to check for bad 1000uf 16v caps on the dm board and the fmt board. Be sure to checked surface mount fuses on DM and FMT board after you replace the capacitors.

Not to easy of a job due to how much dis-assembly needs to be done. Instructions can be found online on how to do this.

Tv shut off and will not restart flashing green

projection TV`s have integrated protection circuits
built into the circuit design, these circuits turn the
power off automatically when a fault has bin detected indication of this is a flashing light on the front panel
this is in order to prevent a more costly repair, these circuits monitor
power supply , vertical and horizontal deflection
over voltage, or x ray, and also faults with convergence circuits.
Diagnosing these faults require test equipment and a good knowledge of
electronic repair techniques, and also a repair manual.

Above is your service and repair manual, below is your user manual.
http://www.retrevo.com/support/Mitsubishi-WD-52825-TVs-manual/id/276ag911/t/2/

Those symptoms you describe, prior the "Reset Button" incident, indicate a fault in the Horizontal section, either a fault in that actual section or the Voltage from the SMPSU, is failed or missing, as usual though one always starts at the SMPSU, and check the voltages are all correct as if they aren't correct here, then no where else can be OK. If you wish to DIY, then these manuals above will be invaluable.
This maybe a classic switchmode power supply problem, there is protection circuitry built in, to detect faults, and there is a "Protection mechanism" which is shutting down the set to avoid a fire, explosion, or both. This set has developed a problem, that is so severe that the set must be shut down, This set should now, be removed from the Power, and in my professional recommendation, you should get a "Quote" for repair, from, an, Approved Service Center, this point is very important for a good result, Always contact, their local, "Head Office" Mitsubish, in your case. Now, when you get the information you want, from the "Quote" well, then you can decide as to repair of replacement. The reason we want an approved agent, is that way, all the engineers are trained on their own brand sets, they have seen almost all faults, and will get the job done quicker, and for less cost, and usually have original parts on hand, also sometimes, there has been a service bulletin in issued and the repair may be subsided or even free.

Had a power failure then when it returned the tv

First....try unplugging the set for about 2 minutes-- the plug it in...and see if it will "boot up' after that. It should take LESS than 2 minutes for the set to boot--and the light to stop flashing after the power is applied to set. If this does not help...you may have a problem with the DM module or bad capacitors on the power supply board. Sometimes...the DM module can be repaired with capacitors, like the PS--but other times...it will need to be replaced.

I need to see the lamp housing unit with

yes, if you look at the back of the lamp unit you will see a plug, if you pushed a little too hard when trying to plug it back in you may have pushed the corresponding plug out. Take the back off and look and find the case that the lamp sets in and see if the connector has been pushed out.
