Your going to need to measure the various power supply voltages to see if its a bad main or power supply board

If you have the time you might just want to measure them with a cap tester. It is not uncommon for a bad capacitor to look beautifully new.

If you have to change one or two bulging capacitors, then you may as well change them all. They won't cost much and would be available in any electronics store. Just make sure the values in uF as WELL as the voltage and temperature ratings are the same. All the info is stamped on the capacitors jackets.

I also have the blinking green light problem with my WS-65513 Mitsubishi TV. I would appreciate any information you could send to help fix this problem. Thank you, Keith. elitemachine

A quick fix for this is to use a hair dryer to heat up the capacitors and then plug the tv back in.  It should only take about 90-120 seconds to heat them up depending on how hot the dryer is.  The cap's are located on the right side.  Take the front cover off the TV, and heat up the box that is about the size of a small cable box on the right side.  Once the cap's are warm, they will stay warm as long as the TV stays plugged in.
Scott out

The real question if model number indicated here is correct is does the green power light on the set come on at all ?

Mitsubishi... | Answered on Aug 30, 2012 | 65 views

Hit the pic adjust button until you get the picture you want. If it does not change correctly, then you need to change it on the Sat box.

Mitsubishi... | Answered on Jun 20, 2012 | 88 views

Check in the sets menu for closed captions and find TEXT.

The feature was never really used but a lot of sets have it=====a few cable or sat boxes also have this feature.

Turn it to off.

let me know if you have questions.

In doing some electronic testing in your tv you should be familiar with the parts specially the convergence section of your tv but if you are not handy in electronics I suggest that you should contact a service technician because one mistake your tv may not be repair or it will be harder to repair. And it will save you from stress good day and best regards.

You have to pull the speaker cover off, and disconnect the connectors going to the OSD board, the contrlo board, and remove the scwers at the bottom of the fram and then it will take two people to lift and puul out at the same time, to remove the screen.

This unit does not have a HD tuner so you would need a separate box. See Best Buy. They can help you.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Make sure its not your input source. See if you get the waves through both a DVD player and a Cable box. If you do, your signal board is bad.
