Blue screen no signal
You need to replace the surface mounted voltage regulator IC (small black square chip with a metal tab on one end, and two legs on the other end.) it is on the main board, right behind the signal input board. It's a BA09FP regulator IC, you can purchase this on mouser.com
it requires a bit of disassembly, but it is relatively easy to do. it is component number IC9C25. It could be bad, or just have bad connections . This IC supplies 9 volts to the terminal board. Try resolding it first.

Removal of protection screen mitsubishi ws55819 rear projection
you will need to pull the bottom of the unit off, this is just a snap on speaker grille across the bottom... then you will remove the screws across the bottom of the grey frame holding the screen... un plug the 2 plugs going to the control panel buttons, lift UP then OUT and it will come off.. once off, lay face down on a blanket and you can remove the frame screws INSIDE to pull out the protective screen. I took mine off to stop all of the glare problems. Also, while you have the screen off, clean your mirror and lenses since they will be easily accessible.. windex will do the job well, just make sure not to leave a bunch of lint from paper towels!

I have a mitsubishi 65
I have the same tv, I repair these tv's and I could never get the VGA plug on them to work properly - let me guess - it is a scrambled picture right? you may try hooking up to the tv thru this VGA plug and then start the comp using safe mode... this may just be a problem with the output from the pc in trms of resolution... check your owners manual. If you dont have one, I will email you one in PDF format.

Connect Macbook Pro to Component input
you should be able to use an SVGA to component rca connector on any component input - i have a wd-65513, and thats how I have my pc hooked up to it. I could also never get a clear picture using the SVGA plug on the back of the set.

this is more than likely a case of the capacitors in your DM module failing. Email me at doin12volt at yahoo, and I will send you repair instructions.

I HAVE A 65' MITSUBISHI
My first guess would be the flyback converter has burnt out ( A common problem with this model) The part is around $70.00 but it holds HIGH VOLTAGE and should be done by a pro

Green light flashing
this means the DM board is not booting up. You will typically need 4-8 capacitors to fix this issue. you have to pull out the board and solder in new parts. let me know if you feel skilled enough to do this and I can give directions. The caps will usually bulge at the tops and are 1000uf .. mitsubishi recommends replacing with 680uf 16v caps..
