The Pentax stores its pictures on an SDHD card, which you can then remove. If you don't have an SD slot in your computer, you can purchase an adapter that connects to your computer via USB. Peter, Your camera has lots of settings that can cause this. If you want to be sure if the camera has had its best time, please check if it is in complete automatic mode.
