Nicknames can't be changed at all. I don't even think that accounts could be removed unless done manually in the database.

So nope, can't be done. 

1. Switch on the DVD - without and DVD in it.
2. When "no disc" appears press the following sequence of numbers from the remote control: 9735
3. Choose the region (0 is universal)

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME FIND THE CODES FOR A DVD PLAYER YDP-530 YAHOO. I HAVE A ONE FOR ALL UNIVERSAL REMOTE. I HAVE THE CODE LIST BUT THIS DVD PLAYER IS NOT LISTED. IVE TRIED AUTO SEARCH, AND RANDOM CODES CANNOT GET IT TO WORK . I CAN PROGRAM THIS REMOTE FOR OTHER COMPONENTS BUT NOT THIS DVD PLAYER. THE DVD PLAYER IS A 2005. I think I had the same problem, I went into setup and it was set to SCART, but I'm using the red, white and yellow leads, so I changed to the option at the top of the menu and it now works fine.

Still can't find the unlock codes though !!!!

Partial solution...

Without a DVD in the player - eject the tray

1). Press Setup ensure you are showing 'General' tab
2). Enter 1389

At this point a list comes up with all sorts of info. At the bottom is Region Code 2. But I'm stumped as to how to change it. I've tried all different key combinations I can think of. On other Mikomi players except the ds-306a (the Argos is a rebadged Mikomi ds-306a) you can then use the up or down arrows and cycle throw the region nunbers until you get to region 0. Odd that it doesn't seem to work on ds-306a. Perhaps someone else can figure the final steps out

Cuando se oye el disco dar vueltas por unos segundos, y despues el lector acaba sin leer el disco con un mensaje 'no disk' , y esto pasa con todos los discos, entonces sinifica que la lentilla laser esta estropeada o bien suzia.

Intente limpiar la lente utilizando un disco limpiador como esto : CD,DVD Cleaner Kit High Quality

Si esso no sirve necessita limpiar la lente directamente con algodon y alcohol, o sostituirla.

Advd player does not need tuning , simpley connect red white and yellow RCA leads from the back of your DVD to AV... input of tour TV use TV remote to select the same AV source eg AV1 AV2

You can not view from the USB, since the USB port on the DVD player is ver 1.1. The transfer speed is to slow to watch a movie. Alternatively you can copy your movie from your flashdrive to the harddrive and watch from there. You will see what I mean with slow speed when you copy the movie. It takes ages.

I need a Manual for a Sharp Dv-nc70 - combination VCR/DVD player. I have just moved countries and can't find it anywhere, I can't get sound on my tv when I hook up the VCR part
