I phoned sony when I had an issue with my bravia and they walked me through fixing it. I got the number from google.
I have a 2 inch band running vertically on my television screening. Do you know what the problem might be?

With regards to your problem, are you sure that the 2 inch band running vertically on your TV screen is not a dirt or just a mere reflection of something else that is adjacent to your TV? If it is an actual band of some sort of distortion or light or streak on your TV screen that won't go off regardless of what lighting conditions you have there, or inspite of making sure that the screen is clean and free from whatever dirt or markings, then I am sorry to say but that is already a damage on your TV screen's LCD panel. It is best if you bring that already to a TV repair shop. If the product is still under or within warranty, then you should have it repaired right away and take advantage of the warranty as that may cost you some serious amount. It is also unwise to just ignore and continue using the TV with that kind of damage as it may lead to a severe malfunction, eventually it may even cause fire or some sort of explosion.
No picture when i turn t.v. on.
If the problem is same with different input devices and you have ensured there are no loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and sockets, the TV needs servicing.

Sony Bravia 46 XBR has the input bar stuck at the top of screen.
Unplug the TV for a while and hopefully, that should reset the circuity. If you're using the original remote control, check for the display button and press it.
I would also suggest doing a factory reset if your TV has that feature and if the TV allows you to do it after unplugging it.

The front and back pieces are like a clam shell and are compression fit with tabs into one another. You need to use something like a guitar pick or spudger to separate the pieces. Dont use metal objects due to damage that will happen to the plastic .
How can I watch Netflix on a tv Sony wega that isn’t hooked to the internet. It’s wirelessly connected to Vizio ( smart tv Netflix built in) but I want to be able to watch in a different room

what I can not under stand is (different room) this phase

and wifi gets weak if my move any TV farther from the home router
and will fail past 25 feet or more. wifi is super weak through walls
for sure brick, or 2 walls.
if home is small one wifi access point is all you need
if huge home more.
