My Minolta Freedom Zoom 70C camera will not take pictures.

Try cleaning the contacts in the camera and clean the film canister. You can also try putting self adhive tape on the DX Area of the film cassette and set the film speed ASA manually. What is the DX code on a film roll? The DX code is the silver and black pattern on almost every film cartridge. Inside most electronic film cameras, there is a series of metal pins that read the code and tell your camera what your film speed is.

Minolta 404si Dynax doesn't shoot

It sounds like you may have an issue with the shutter mechanism, most likely caused by a worn out or dirty shutter. I would recommend taking it to a professional camera repair shop to have it checked out. They may be able to diagnose the issue and repair it or, if necessary, replace the shutter. If you are not comfortable with taking it to a professional, you can try to diagnose the issue yourself by taking a few test shots with the camera on a tripod in different lighting conditions. If you are able to get some consistent results (e.g. the shutter always fails to fire at the same point or in the same lighting conditions) then you may be able to narrow down the problem and focus your troubleshooting efforts.

How to fix Minolta Freedom Zoom 125 Camera that wont turn on with the 'On' button.

Remove the battery and check it for voltage with a multimeter. The drop may have caused internal damage to one of the cells. This link shows that 'Freedom Zoom' is a generic series for Minolta and is not an actual model. I was trying to see what form the battery took. If it is the Duracell lithium 123 battery, they should each read 3 volts on the meter. https://www.google.com/search?q=Minolta+Freedom+Zoom+battery ..

Minolta 500si autofocus stopped working. Tried turning manual focus on and off, restarting, resetting, putting new battery in. Not sure why it isn't sensing the autofocus lens attached. Any ideas?

Try gently cleaning the electronic contacts on the camera body and the rear of the lens, without touching the rear lens element or the mirror in the camera.

Found minolta Dimage7i in back of parent's storage cabinet. batteries left in have leaked on the hinged door and would like to replace to see if camera will still work. great shape.

Put on proper protection for your skin/eyes, then remove the old ones, clean with some general cleaner or cola(yes like Coca Cola or Pepsi, etc. as it eats corrosion), then replace the batteries with new ones and see what happens!

Finding the software to download pictures from my minolta dimage Z3 camera to the computer

Check your 'C' drive on PC. The path to the software will either be C:\Program Files\ or C:\Program Files (x86) if you have installed it. If you need to find appropriate software, contact Konica Minolta, its usually a free download for you to install.

What card does my Minolta DiMAGE 1 use

The answer to this, and many other questions of a similar nature, may be contained in the manual. If you have no manual, you can download a manual for almost any equipment by Googling the make and model followed by the word Manual, then follow the appropriate link(s).

What is the biggest size memory card for my Dimage A1 Minolta Camera?

An older camera, the DiMage A1 came with a 16mb card. Some cameras are picky about which cards work best. Compact Flash cards are sold in different speeds and your camera may work faster with a faster card. This camera can use Compact Flash type I or type II, and is compatible with the microdrive card. Since this camera was introduced the capacities of Compact Flash cards have increased dramatically so I believe you should be able to use a larger card with no problems but I would check out some of the online photography sites to read about other's experiences. Here is one good resource: http://www.imaging-resource.com/ Hope this helps!

You cannot find the age of Minolta lenses by the serial number, Minolta didn't use serial numbers like that. Some lenses have (c) xxxx for the year the type were first manufactured but that means the range, not that lens. This site has the different versions of the range. Most lens have a red spot on them. There is usually a red spot on camera (look on left side). The one on camera body is the unlock and needs to be pushed and held in as you rotate lens red spot towards the camera spot. When they line up you can remove lens. ?

I have an old Minolta camera with quite a few great additional lenses. I'm looking at getting new camera and need to know what would I have to do to use those lenses?

That depends on how old the old stuff is. If the lenses have the ancient Minolta SR mount then you're pretty much out of luck (or you can continue using them with your old camera). If the lenses have the Minolta A-mount then they will mount on the Sony alpha-series digital SLRs.
