Rewind film
Rewind it and take it to your closest Wal*Mart. They can send the film out to be developed. Depending upon the age of the film, you may experience some color shifts should the film be outdated.
Hope that helps,

How to reset the camera
Try a manual rewind, and remove batteries and let it set for awhile to allow charges to seep out of capacitors. Film cameras usually don't have resets. Check batteries and battery contacts
The camera will not take the picture
Need more info. What is the camera not doing? Does the auto focus work? Are the batteries good. Are the shutter blades in place? Sometimes when loading film a person will push down to smooth film and the force will go through the film and pop the shutter blades out of position. Remove the lens and gently lift the mirror with your finger nail. The blades should lie flat.
Film door broken
Common problem with many SLR cameras from that era, I found a replacement door at this link for $20.00

Fix shutter
Your lens is not communicating with your camera, which could be a result of unclean electrical contacts on the lens. Just wipe the electrical contacts that you see on the lens with a dry cloth to remove any residues on them and try again. If this doesn't work, you may need to contact service personnel.
Take about 4-5 pictures it self rewinds
Remove the bottom cover and check for sand/grit in the gears. Push both the rewind buttons (red rewind marks) and see if it resets. Otherwise it may be either a sensor (film movement) or circuit failure. There are no parts for these unless you can find them on Ebay. Minolta left the camera world years ago.

If there was a film in the camera and you opened the back, all the pictures you took got burned. You need to rewind the film take it out, put a new one in and try to turn on the camera. err should be gone.

Hi,
On Minolta's ERR means that the film hasn't been loaded in the camera properly so you'll want to reload the film.
Need battery chamber lock for
I'm assuming you need the whole chamber door. I think it would be pretty hard to find just the door, so I would suggest buying another HTsi Plus just to get the part you need. I looked on Ebay and saw an "HTsi body for parts". It was $30(USD) including shipping, not too bad. If there was a source to purchase just the door, I'm sure it would cost $10-20; so buying another camera body might be a better choice. You could probably buy a decent used/working HTsi for around $60-75. So it is up to you to decide what your best course of action is. If it is the door that you need, they are removed very easily (no tools needed).
You push the button and it will not take a
My HTsi Plus never seems to be able to Auto Focus on a subject, so when you push the shutter button half-way, it just flashes the focus indicator (telling you it is unable to focus). Try switching over to the "Manual Focus" mode. On the front of the camera there is a button labeled "AF/M". Push that button to switch to manual focus. If the camera is in manual focus, the external LCD screen will say "M.Focus". Now try to snap a shot. If that still does not work, there may be something wrong with the camera or the lens. So, try using a different lens in manual focus mode. If it still does not work, then I would say the problem is with the camera itself.
