I need windows XP install dic.
Orion, Sorry, but while I do not agree with the pricing of Operating Systems, especially when I think Microsoft has made enough money already.... I also don't endorse piracy/copyright infringement- which is what I would be committing to, If I were to give you a download link to a version available on the Internet for free. If you contact Microsoft directly and explain your problem, or look in your local store that sells computer equipment, I'm sure either source will allow you to get a copy. If you have a pre-built or laptop computer from a brand name manufacturer (IE: Acer, Dell, HP, Compaq, Lenovo/IBM, Gateway, EMachines)- sometimes if you have an account from them or can prove your purchase- you can contact them or visit their website and they will allow you to download what are called "recovery disks" (disks geared specifically to your computer that install Windows and everything else that was on the computer at the time of purchase)- sometimes for free. Hope this helps in your hunt. - Vern

How to get the task bar to it natural size?
It is possible to make the task bar taller than it is by default, and this is the only way that I know of to change the size of the task bar, so I have to assume that you are asking how to take the task bar back down to the original "tallness." You would put your mouse cursor at the top of the task bar until it turns into a double-headed arrow, and then click down and drag the top edge toward the bottom of the screen until it is the normal height. If the task bar is locked, this cannot be done, so make sure it is unlocked by right-clicking on an empty spot on the task bar and make sure that "lock task bar" is not checked first.

How can i open my bluetooth?
open the control panel, and then, in the search field, in the upper right-hand corner, type in bluetooth and hit enter. This will find the bluetooth applet, which you can then open and configure your bluetooth.

"my network places" does not work
Hi tmc1942,
It could be that one of the updates changed some of the security settings in XP. To correct this problem please follow the steps below.
1. First try enabling File and Printer Sharing, go to the Control Panel, then Network Connections, right-click on Local Area Connection, and choose Properties. On the General tab, make sure the following protocols are installed and checked:
Client for Microsoft Networks
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
2. Next, confirm that your PC is configured to be in the same workgroup as the other computers. You can check this by right-clicking on My Computer, choosing Properties, and clicking on the Computer Name tab.
3. Make sure that Windows Firewall settings have not changed. You can check this by going to Control Panel, clicking on Windows Firewall and then clicking on the Exceptions tab. Confirm that the check box next to File and Print Sharing is checked.
If that does not work, please try these
1. Click Start, Control Panel, User Accounts, and then Change an Account, and choose your account and then Change the Account Type and change your account to Administrator and then reboot and login again and see if that helps.
2. You may also try accessing your computer using the safemode. In safe mode just put yourself in as a user with administrative privileges. In a normal boot the system will install you on the welcome screen. Just enter the options setup screens for a new user.
Hope it helps.
Thank you for using FixYa.

One day, I uninstalled USB
The hubs were most likely the USB hardware that is a part of your computer, but the USB Mass Storage Device is a part of some hardware that you had plugged in at some point (maybe a USB flash drive, maybe a USB external drive). In order to reinstall the Mass Storage Device, you have to plug that hardware back in and let it reinstall.
If you aren't aware already, sometimes you plug in one device, but it installs as more than one device (it's actually supposed to). So you won't always have a one-to-one ration of hardware and installed devices, since some of them show up as more than one device. And typically, when plug a new device in for the first time, the computer can only see one device, then it instals that one device, and only then can it see the other (virtual) devices, which it then installs. The next time you plug that device in, it sees & activates all of the devices instantly & silently (not counting the little "plug in" sound it makes).

All of the programs in the start menu are showing
Check this link to check the settings of your start menu. http://www.coolnerds.com/XP/StartMenu/xpStartMenu.htm. It might be that it is not properly set that is why you dont see those options on your start menu. Hope this would help. Thanks.

Why so hard to find windows xp pro can you please
I would pick up a copy on Ebay. with so many people switching over to Windows Vista and 7 there are some great deals. Look for a seller that has great rating or someone that sells O.S. exclusively.
