Launch taskbar programs with your keyboard
Many of us-especially users of the Start Menu-less Windows 8-use the Windows taskbar as a quick launch bar, populating it with our day-to-day programs. Opening those programs is as simple as clicking them, but there's actually a faster way to launch software on your taskbar: Simple keyboard combinations.
Every program to the right of the Start button is assigned its own numerical shortcut, with the first program being "1," the second being "2," and so on, all the way to the 10th taskbar shortcut, which gets "0." Pressing the Windows key, plus the number of the program you want to open, launches it.
My windows xp professional did not pass windows
From where did you get your computer?
It's a serious breach-of-contract if a computer-store "pre-installed" Windows (XP or Vista or 7) on your computer, and they used a "stolen" product-key.
If a "friend" of yours installed Windows XP Professional, using a "stolen" product-key, they have not done you a favour.
Have your credit-card ready, and follow the on-screen instructions to make an online purchase (from Microsoft) of a valid product-key, in order to "get genuine" and to "pass" the "validation" check.

Download & install the codec "

Your Media Player will play most of the Audio/video formats after the codec installation.

Trying to upgrade from windows XP pro to windows 7
The source you are installing from, either DVD or ISO file, is corrupt. Download a fresh copy of ISO file or burn a new DVD.
It is always better to install from ISO file directly using
MagicDiscor any such software.
If it still does not work, then i suggest that you backup all data and install windows 7 formatting the hard drive.

When trying to open an Excel attachment thru
Two possible issues: The file extension may be missing from the file and Excel has issues opening a file directly from the e-mail attachment.
It is always a best practice to download the attachment before trying to open it.
Save the file to your comptuer and verify the file has a 3 digit extension on the end. .XLS an Excel 2003 and lower extension - .XLSX is Excel 2007 extension.
Opening an attachment from an e-mail places the file in a TEMP directory on the hard drive and Excel may have issues saving your changes because of this.
Save the attachment and then open it with Excel. That way, the changes you make will be saved, you will know where the file is and you will not lose your work.

How to download a free microsoft windows xp
Hi there,
We wish you a Happy New Year.
If you have the original CD use it,it's genuine windows.
But what you get online is pirated.

Method 1: Start the reinstallation from Windows XPTo reinstall Windows XP by using Windows XP CD, follow these steps:
- Start your computer.
- Insert the Windows XP CD in your computer's CD drive or DVD drive.

- On the Get Updated Setup Files page, select the option that you want, and then click Next.
- Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to reinstall Windows XP.
If you successfully completed the reinstallation, congratulations. You are almost done. Please continue to the "After you reinstall Windows XP" section to finish.
If you received an error or if the reinstallation did not finish, try method 2.
Method 2: Repair install of Windows XP by starting your computer from the Windows XP CDNote If Windows XP was preinstalled on your computer, you may need the installation CD to reinstall. Contact your computer manufacturer to make sure that you have the installation CD for a repair installation.
To reinstall Windows XP by starting your computer from the Windows XP CD, follow these steps:

My word 2003 shortcut keys are not responding ?
Try restoring shortcut keys to their original (default)settings.
Open Winword.
1.On the Tools menu, click Customize.
2.Click Keyboard.
3.In the Save changes in box, click the current document name or template (template: A file or files that contain the structure and tools for shaping such elements as the style and page layout of finished files. For example, Word templates can shape a single document, and FrontPage templates can shape an entire Web site.) that contains the shortcut key (shortcut key: A function key or key combination, such as F5 or CTRL+A, that you use to carry out a menu command. In contrast, an access key is a key combination, such as ALT+F, that moves the focus to a menu, command, or control.) assignments you want to restore.
4.Click Reset All.
Note:- Reset All removes your customized shortcut key assignments and restores the original Microsoft Word shortcut key assignments in the selected template or document.
Hope it will help.

Hi is there any way i can upgrade my windows xp to windows 7 for free
I am sorry. There is no legal way to do it for free.
- The W7 is end-of-sale product. It is hard to buy.
- It is security risk if you will install some cracked W7. Modified (cracked) unofficial installation sources include trojans or other malware very often.
- A Windows 8 is good successor. My experience: The W8 is better than W7. Only some details (Start icon) are missing. I have modified the W8 setting, desktop etc. to be similar to W7 and I have become accustomed to W8. You need not use many strange W8 features if you do not like it. I ignore them all too: Loging-in by MS account, Microsoft Store, Bing search engine, Internet Explorer etc.
What do you prefer? A system for free or a Windows?
- If you insist on Windows, you must pay.
- If you need good system for free, use a Linux. The Ubuntu is very good option. It is working on all my PC's for years. I install it every time either as a sole system or as a second one. This my answer is written by Firefox running on Ubuntu Linux e.g.
You can follow the links, read about Ubuntu and try it without installation for first time. Requested contributing is not mandatory. Fill $0 or go directly to link:
Not now, take me to the download

I am a victim of softaware counterfeiting can I
These notifications start coming back again after some time and do not feel good. Though I never encourage piracy but here is how you can remove this problem:
1. Before doing anything serious try restoring your system. If the problem is occurring after the Windows Update then System Restore will surely help.
2. But if it does not then do try this, launch Windows Task Manager.
3.Locate the process "wgatray.exe" and end it.
4.Log in into the Safe Mode and delete the file WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32
5.Also delete the WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
6. Type regedit in Run to open Registry Editor, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify key.
7. Delete the folder WgaLogon and all of its contents.
8. Restart the PC normally.
TRY THIS.............
