HP D1420 USB Printer starts printing then stops, and starts, and stops untill either timing out or completing the task (Lagging)

If the USB Port is 2.0, it might not work if the printer is 3.0. If the USB Port is 2.0, it might not work so fast if the printer is 3.0. It would work better if the USB Port was 3.0. And don't forget, USB cables are also rated (USB,USB2.0,USB3.0). Can't tell you how many times I've gotten a printer to work just by switching cables. Good luck.

How to crack computer password using command prompt?

Reboot the computer Right after the bios is finished, hit F8 (or F2,F10,F12) Select 'Safe mode' or 'Safe mode with Command Prompt' 26301562-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-0.jpg Type net user and press Enter. This will bring up a list of user accounts. Look here for the name and exact spelling of the account whose password you wish to change. 26301562-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-2.jpg Type net user name goes here *. Do not neglect any of the spaces (particularly the one before the *) or the command won't work. 26301562-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-5.jpg Press Enter. Once submitted, the command will give you the option of typing a new password for the user. 26301562-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-14.jpg Carefully type the desired password and press Enter. The characters will not display as you type, so make sure the Caps Lock isn't on and be very thorough with the spelling and punctuation. Retype the password to confirm. This should weed out any typos. 26301562-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-20.jpg Press Enter. The new password should go into effect immediately. If you get an error message or your access is denied, the account you're working on doesn't have high enough authorization to change any passwords. 26301562-bxzhjmonsmllydp0qa2riq2g-2-27.jpg

Launch taskbar programs with your keyboard

Many of us-especially users of the Start Menu-less Windows 8-use the Windows taskbar as a quick launch bar, populating it with our day-to-day programs. Opening those programs is as simple as clicking them, but there's actually a faster way to launch software on your taskbar: Simple keyboard combinations. Every program to the right of the Start button is assigned its own numerical shortcut, with the first program being "1," the second being "2," and so on, all the way to the 10th taskbar shortcut, which gets "0." Pressing the Windows key, plus the number of the program you want to open, launches it.

Hi is there any way i can upgrade my windows xp to windows 7 for free

I am sorry. There is no legal way to do it for free.
  • The W7 is end-of-sale product. It is hard to buy.
  • It is security risk if you will install some cracked W7. Modified (cracked) unofficial installation sources include trojans or other malware very often.
  • A Windows 8 is good successor. My experience: The W8 is better than W7. Only some details (Start icon) are missing. I have modified the W8 setting, desktop etc. to be similar to W7 and I have become accustomed to W8. You need not use many strange W8 features if you do not like it. I ignore them all too: Loging-in by MS account, Microsoft Store, Bing search engine, Internet Explorer etc.
What do you prefer? A system for free or a Windows?
  • If you insist on Windows, you must pay.
  • If you need good system for free, use a Linux. The Ubuntu is very good option. It is working on all my PC's for years. I install it every time either as a sole system or as a second one. This my answer is written by Firefox running on Ubuntu Linux e.g.
You can follow the links, read about Ubuntu and try it without installation for first time. Requested contributing is not mandatory. Fill $0 or go directly to link: Not now, take me to the download Ubuntu PC operating system Ubuntu

Running avast computer shuts down showing system recover from serious error.

Did you have Avast installed previusly or was it the first run? In any case, try to do a System Restore to a point previous to this strange behaviour. If you can't localise it in your Programs (Start) find exe file in C:\Windows\System32\restore\rstrui.exe Presume your system disk is C: and system forlder is windows. Use the proper one if it's different

Hello Steve, go to a pc which is already connected to domain. Right click on my computer icon of the pc and select properties. You will see it there. Or else type echo %LOGONSERVER%. This is the easiest way for you now. Or else you can search internet for your answer. Good Luck. Hope your system administrator returns soon if all fails :)

Win RAR *is* a compressed Zip file. The folder itself can't be compressed only the contents. So, just create a folder using any name you want to use such as *my rar zip* and drag the compressed winrar file into it.

My firefox will not allow me to open facebook login

If you're using Microsoft Windows XP Pro or any variation of XP for that matter, you more than likely have a virus that is creating this problem for you. Windows XP is a dead operating system. They quit providing update support, internet support and virus/malware support for that system. I know it sucks... XP was one of my favorite operating systems as well but now I have upgraded to Microsoft Windows 7 Professional. Your best bet is to do the same. I'd recommend Win 7 as opposed to Vista or even Win 8 but it's all in preferences... The choice is yours to make overall. I hope that this helps :-)

Make sure the camera is not plugged in. Go into the Device Manager and delete the camera. Shut the computer down. Start the computer. Use the browser to search for the latest driver for that camera and your present operation system. download the drivers and install them. shut the computer down. plug the camera in to the USB and start the computer. It should find the hardware and if it fails to install properly then, you must choose the driver that you have downloaded to install the driver that way.
