You can try fixing the problem by first dismantling all the connecting cables specially the cable that connects your hard drives and other removable disks to the mother board. Clean the terminal pins to both connectors, make sure that its free from dusts and dirt. Reassemble everything and see to it that they are properly connected before running your PC.
Computer just beeps.... will not boot up....
Test your PSU or replace it
Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA and
the leads from your motherboard to your hard drive make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty

New power supply does not work...is it the motherboard
well there are two ways to to figure out which item is broken first you can hook up the power supply and test the pins in the plug with a voltage tester to see if it has power. I do not recommend this approach if you are unsure of what you are doing the voltage coming from a computer power supply is very dangerous. the second thing you could do is attach a different power supply to *********** board if ti works the mother board is good and it your power supply that is busted. Also make sure to check the back of the power supply and make sure it is set to 110 and 220 voltage because this can cause your power supply to not function correctly. It will be a little red switch on the back that says 110v on one side of it and 220v on the other.
I hope this helped.
Thank you,

It really depends what you're going to be using the computer for. It is suggested that you have at least a minimum 1 GB of RAM if you're using Windows XP. If you want to find out which RAM is compatible, try using Crucial's website.
Cannot change the bios
remove the jumper to clear/reset bios - or take out batter - refer to your manual or go the elitegroup website for details.
