How do I get the calculate button to work on my
Normally excel should automaticallly update the values on the spreadsheet. However, in certain cases when it doesn't work, you can use the manual update key which is the "F9" key on the keyboard.

The right-align format is best for viewing numbers.
It is especially easier to read 'accounting' numbers where the decimals line up.
Generally, left-justifed is best for non-number alpha characters/words.
Center-justify is best (maybe) for column headings, etc.

3. Type in =(select a cell)+ (Select the other cell) - (select the appropriate cell) and so on
4. If you are looking for a sum of try this formula, SUM=(select the first cell in the roll or column, hold the shift key and select the last number) then press enter

are you trying to open a txt file or a comma-separated variable (CSV) file and i bet the chances of the file name having a capital "I: or "D" are good huh.
To open your file in Excel, open the file in a text editor, and then insert an apostrophe at the beginning of the first line of text.
How to Insert an Apostrophe
To add an apostrophe to the beginning of the first line of text in your file, follow these steps:
1. Open the text file in a text editor, such as Notepad. Click before the first character in the first line of text. Press the APOSTROPHE key on your keyboard (').
2. On the File menu, click Save. Quit the text editor. You can now open the file in Excel.
