I was watching tv and heard a pop and lost

I would google it with the specific part number and see if there are any postings on internet re the source(s) of the problem. If you do no't find anything and you have time and motivation, you can use your test tools to check out the various components on supply that may be the cause. I would concentrate on checking out the caps since it is not uncommon for a bad cap to look just as good as a good one. U might find one that is shorted.

PDP-4300 has no sound

Try it on headphone. Try changing the input to some other device that works. If it does not work even then, this may need attention by a qualified service technician.

My 43in pioneer plasma tv picture keeps going out

As far as cost goes, it's pretty hard to ever pinpoint that without being able to open it up and test the boards.
As for the switching off and on and coming back differently, that MIGHT be the power supply with some fried capacitors. However, it might be something wrong with the digital components. If it's a digital problem, then it's probably easier and cheaper to just pitch the whole thing, or at least a whole board.

How do I hook up a Pioneer PDP-4300 for High Def?

That depends on what source your talking about.

Cable call you cable provider and ask them for a HDTV box

Satalite you should already have one if not ask them.

OTA =over the air you need a digital tuner with a nice antenna I suspect this has a digital tuner inside so all you need is a good antenna.

DVD= hook the DVD up with the red, green, blue cables called SCART connections..

Blueray= Will bring you high def.. with its connections.

So your question is vague and can be answered in so many ways.. Rate me please Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/edwy_1a56970cf1ea4620
