Continues to fill, not holding water

The drain hose might be too low. Make sure the drain hose is at least three feet above the floor.

If the above adjustment doesn't produce positive results, replace the control.

Need to know how to reset washing machine computer

I used to work with pc's and when in doubt I rebooted. Cable boxes, routers and even these fancy machines. Turn it off, unplug it from the wall wait about 30 seconds and plug it back in. I'm not sure if this will do the trick but I had a repair guy here for my old Maytag neptune and he wasn't sure either so I unplugged it and it reset itself. He learned something new that day. Hope this helps. If not someone else will come along and reply as well with another method.

Washer will not come on, I have checked the power supply and its good. Is there a way to reset electronics besides unplugging?

Are you saying that the lights are no coming on and there is no action at all? If you have no power at all you will no be able to perform diagnostics. You can look and see if the control board is receiving power by checking the L.E.D. light on the board. To access the board you will remove the screws going across the back of the console and then with a putty knife depress the clip on either end of the console from the front and tip it toward you. Please be super careful because there is electricity in this area. We don't want you to be come damaged with servicing your machine. If you need further assistant I am here to help.

My washer is full of clothes and is not working. I can't move it to find the model number for troubleshooting. How can I determine the model without getting the number off the back?

Is there any possibility of using a mirror to read the model number off the back? i've had to do this myself. I used a flashlight and a small hand mirror.

I have a 4 cycle.2 speed motor conservator top load pull start push stop hevdy duty washing machine by crosley that will start washing then just stop and hum what could be wrong and how can I fix it

1) When it starts humming measure the voltage at the cord to see if it is dropping. f you have fuses they can become corroded so rotate a few times till the problem goes away. 2) If the problem persists remove the motor for testing. Any repair shop can test the motor. You can test it if you can read the diagram. use a cord and hook to terminals behind inspection plate. Step on motor to keep it in place and plug in. Test both speeds. If the problem persists replace the motor. Good luck

Clothing gets caught under the agitator wings like sleeves on shirts, strings on clothing ie hooded sweatshirts.

This is something that happens with most top-load washing machines. As long as the agitator has wings, stuff will get under them. That is one reason that front-load machines are becoming more popular.
