Good Morning friend, thanks for your post!
From the information you have provided the door gasket on your Frigidaire dishwasher continues to come loose. Typically, when your gasket starts coming out you may need to have a replacement gasket installed. I would recommend operating the gasket you need from your manufacturer and replacing it. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
Hello Mike Hilgers - There are two main reasons why the middle spray arm could possibly be loose. Either it is not installed properly or the bracket that mounts it to the bottom of the rack is broken or loose. Carefully remove rack, spray arm and reposition correctly with all rack wheels inside rack slides. If you have already done so, replacement parts may need to be ordered or it could possibly be a more serious issue coming from the interior dishwasher.
Hi kwitt - Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes, confirmed that the door is properly latched and restart unit. If it proves to be ineffective, then the unit may possibly have a more serious issue like a wiring failure, faulty door latch or control board. I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.
Hello babe_dog01 - PF typically appears in window when dishwasher is first installed, or when power has been interrupted. HI-TEMP WASH, SANITIZE and START/CANCEL backlighting will also flash. To clear, touch START/CANCEL pad or resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. Since you have already done so and it was ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. Dishwasher could possibly be experiencing a communication error, wiring failure or faulty control board.
Hello seagraves98 - Since you have already confirmed that the spray arms are moving freely and the filter has recently been cleaned, I will suggest verifying that there is enough water pressure coming into the unit. Is the incoming water temperature at least 120F (49C)? If not, I strongly suggest that the temperature be adjusted on your water heater If any proves to be ineffective, it could possibly have a communication problem coming from the main control board, I would suggest contacting a professional technician to diagnose the unit accurately.
Hi Kenneth Cho - I will suggest verifying that there is enough water pressure coming into the unit. Is the unit making a grinding noise? If it is, then the dishwasher seems to have a defective drain motor. When was the last time the filter was cleaned? Do you noticed if the spray arm will rotate freely or if it is damaged? If so, you might have to remove and replace the spray arm assemblies. If any proves to be ineffective, it could possibly have a communication problem coming from the main control board, I would suggest contacting a professional technician to diagnose the unit accurately.
Hello Al White - Typically error code ER indicates a membrane switch failure. Meaning that the main control board has detected a stuck key or key pressed for more than one minute. This will need to be checked and a repair performed by a technician since they must do the following: check connection from keypad to main control board, if correct the keypad will need replacing. If error still exists then tech will need to replace main control board.
Hi Charles - From what you have described it sounds like there is a miscommunication with the control board/panel and you will need to contact a professional to diagnose it for repairs.
