When the door opens it slams into the unit I did adjust it almost all the way out and it still slams

Are you sure you are adjusting the limit controls and not the force controls.. depending on the age of the opener the limits controls are on the side and the force controls are on the back and they are blue. If you are adjusting the limits and nothing is changing you then either have a bad limit rack or circuit board. I just changed out a rack a little bit ago.

I can't get my older garage door remotes to program with the new unit.Do I have to buy new remotes?

SORRY TO SAY.THE ANSWER IS YES. THE NEW OPENERS ARE NOT ON THE SAME FREQUENCY. YOU CAN PURCHASE REMOTES THAT WILL WORK WITH BOTH OLD AND NEW OPENERS (DUAL FREQUENCY). BUT, OLD REMOTES WILL NOT WORK WITH THE NEW OPENERS.

Erratic garage door opener

It is an adjustment problem. Any obstruction and the door goes up again. So try adjusting again but don't leave space to invite rodents that will cause damage to car wiring. I am just going thru that.

My Craftsless GDO will let me program only 1 remote or keyless entry at a time. I purchased a "NEW" logic board and installed it. Still have the SAME issue.

WHEN YOU PROGRAM THE FIRST REMOTE YOU CLEAR THE CODES BY HOLDING DOWN THE BUTTON FOR 30 SECONDS. THEN PRESS AND RELEASE THE BUTTON, HOLD DOWN THE REMOTE BUTTON FOR 20 SECONDS OR UNTIL YOU HEAR A CLICK. WHEN YOU PROGRAM THE SECOND REMOTE DO NOT HOLD DOWN THE PROGRAM BUTTON. JUST PRESS AND RELEASE THE BUTTON. HOLD DOWN THE REMOTE BUTTON FOR 20 SECONDS OR UNTIL YOU HEAR A CLICK. YOU CAN PROGRAM UP TO 10 REMOTES ON SOME OF THE NEW OPERATORS. IF YOU HOLD DOWN THE PROGRAM BUTTON IT ERASES ALL CODES AND YOU HAVE TO START OVER. HOPE THIS HELPS STEVE.
