to answer this question I would need to know what printer you are using and how it is connected to the laptop (ie....usb connection, wifi directly, wifi through a router, wired through a router, etc...).

Is your adapter plugged in and do you know if the battery is functioning/charged? It is also possible that your adapter doesn't function properly or is dying from use and not enough power if going through it to charge the battery for the computer to function. try using usb keyboard. if fn key working. it mean you have to replace the keyboard.

Do you have the physical wireless switch on?Can you see the list of available networks?Do you get error messages when attempting to connect?Is it your own network your connecting to or a public?Have you checked in Device manager to ensure no issues with your wireless driver?Is it appearing to connect but not working?
