I turned off the lexmark,
Hi,
The 121 indicates a keyboard problem. The rt. keyboard connector has 7 connectors bussed together some of them
become open. Cut a piece of foil wide enough to cover just those
connectors and slide it down into the plug over just those 7 connections
and this save replacing the keyboard.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

215 error
215 is a printwheel error. Remove the printwheel, look for debris in that area, if you have a compressed air source blow out the P/W area, reinstall the P/W. If you still have the problem the LED sensor is probably bad.

How do I store information that is to be printed
First be sure the lo battery is not on the display. On the L. side of the keyboard are 3 keys save, play and del, Hold down save while entering an address 01-99, release save key type info., press save again. Tto replay hold the play key and type address. To delete use the same process. If the batteries or the battery holder are bad all will be lost when the T/W is turned off.

Space bar key doesn't work
If the keys do nothing at all you probably need a keyboard, if they do something but not what you want try a little WD40 on the silver shaft that guides the carrier. If it's the KB contact Geo. Beyers Co.

Carriage return not working
Turn off T/W and see if the carrier will move back and forth freely, if so try removing the batteries and unplugging the machine this will reset to defalt settings. CAUTION THIS WILL ALSO CLEAR YOUR MEMORY!! If the carrier is hard to move a little light oil on the shaft it slides on may cure the problem.
