Zenith D60WLCD Television Questions & Answers
I want to change the lamp.
One word followed by the reasons
DON'T!
Many who think this is just like changing a light globe end up with numerous halo and ring problems on the screen mucking up the picture.
1) There is a matching sequence with the globe
2) it has to be retuned across the screen so thatthere are no shadow areas, rings and halos. So i't's like a focus that is finely set using an instrument to ensure optimum.
3) the lamp hours are reset inside the unit as well as on the screen.
There are 50 peiple currently who changed their own lamps and now have more problems than they need, most times we can't help them because we don;t know what they fiddled with to begin with.

Zenith D60WLCD
Long story short: The blue fog problse is the light engine. Specificaly, the filter for the blue LCD gets to hot and over time starts to burn up and disinigrate. (I just tore my set apart thinking maybe it was the blue panel and found this was indeed the culprit for this problem).
As far as a solution? You will either need to replace the light engine (expensive) or replace the light filter which means tearing the thing completely apart. then there is the problem of where to get a replacement filter. Does ANYONE know where?
As far as the lamp goes, might be time to replace it. You might be better off just getting rid of that TV and get a new one.
Chance it will go out again?
Zeinth/ LG have fixed this problem with there new light engines, It sound like that is what you are going to replace, However there is a way to fix this without replacing the light engine, this involves several lens adjustments and the shimming of certain Focus lenses, We have done this sucsefuly several times here at the shop so you may want to call around and see if someone in your area know how to do tis
My zenith CD/DVD duplicator LCD light on but no ready
If the LCD light on your Zenith CD/DVD duplicator is on but it is not showing as "ready," it is possible that there is an issue with the duplicator's internal components or settings. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
Check the disc trays: Make sure that all of the disc trays are closed properly and that there are no discs stuck inside the duplicator. If a tray is open or a disc is stuck, the duplicator will not be able to operate properly.
Check the power source: Make sure that the duplicator is plugged into a working power source and that the power cable is securely connected to the duplicator. If the power source is not providing enough power, the duplicator may not be able to operate.
Check the settings: Check the duplicator's settings to ensure that it is set up correctly for the type of disc you are trying to duplicate. For example, if you are trying to duplicate a DVD, make sure that the duplicator is set to duplicate DVDs and not CDs.
Reset the duplicator: Try resetting the duplicator by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes resolve minor issues with the duplicator's internal components.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a more serious issue with the duplicator's hardware or software. In this case, it may be best to contact Zenith customer support or a professional technician for further assistance.
