A dvd that does not Record is designed to simple install into a
separate Input
connection on the TV (do you have a VCR/DVD combo?)
Do you have an older TV with only one "Input" for a cable connection? (no Red/Yellow/White Inputs) if yes you may need to take a trip to Radio Shack
No Picture
This is a problem with the vertical circuit. If you can solder, you should be able to fix this. With teh unit unplugged, open up the back and locate the vetical IC. This should be a small flat IC attached to a heatsink with about 9-11 pins. It may be marked LA7837 or something similar. Try resoldering hte pins. If that fails to resolve the problem, replace the IC. I will look up your specific model and try to get more details.

Zenith Z25X22S 25" TV can't read scores at top or bottom
On the inside of the TV, there will be a knob with a RED cap on it, labeled vertial position. (it actually looks like a variable inductor)
With an allen wrench (possible 1/4) give it a half turn in either direction and see what happens. On the Z25x22S model, the vertical and horizontal position adjustments should be right next to eachother, but on the model i worked on, there was no variable pot for the horizontal position.
Hope this helps!

Hooking up a dvd player
as you say that it is old tv so there is a possibility that there may not be audio video socket where dcd player can be connected.
OR
You will have to purchase one video RF converter.RF converter contains one video input in yellow color & two audio input in red & white colour & one cable connector as output.
Connect the dvd output to this converter & tune tv program in which place you receive dvd signal.
Out of focus
How old is the set? If picture is really very blurry, Try adjusting 'focus'. You can find this conttrol generally at the rear of the set.
Otherwise,. if you know solid state electronics, Check the Focus control on the FBT. It is also possible that the CTR Base is faulty. Replacing this helps.
My zenith CD/DVD duplicator LCD light on but no ready
If the LCD light on your Zenith CD/DVD duplicator is on but it is not showing as "ready," it is possible that there is an issue with the duplicator's internal components or settings. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
Check the disc trays: Make sure that all of the disc trays are closed properly and that there are no discs stuck inside the duplicator. If a tray is open or a disc is stuck, the duplicator will not be able to operate properly.
Check the power source: Make sure that the duplicator is plugged into a working power source and that the power cable is securely connected to the duplicator. If the power source is not providing enough power, the duplicator may not be able to operate.
Check the settings: Check the duplicator's settings to ensure that it is set up correctly for the type of disc you are trying to duplicate. For example, if you are trying to duplicate a DVD, make sure that the duplicator is set to duplicate DVDs and not CDs.
Reset the duplicator: Try resetting the duplicator by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes resolve minor issues with the duplicator's internal components.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a more serious issue with the duplicator's hardware or software. In this case, it may be best to contact Zenith customer support or a professional technician for further assistance.
