Hi Jenell Looks like you might have lost one of your primary colours. RGB A section of the internal electronics controls Red Green Blue. Check for loose plugged in cables on back. Antenna or Cable Try inputing a signal from another external video device like a hard drive. Try a couple of hard slaps on the back to see if it changes. If it does then you may simply have an internal bad connector or loose wire. Make sure the air holes around the unit are clean to allow cooling air to flow. Other than that, you will need a technician to open it up. Cheers

I'd guess the cooling fan is not working and the high temp cutout shuts it off.

hello there. It's a bit of a strange question to ask. But I would first check the lamp umber printed on the lamp. I am sure there is a printed number on it. Secondly I would return the lamp to a TV retailer and purchase or order a new lamp. But if this is too much for you, you can get a lamp from the internet at possibly half the price, delivered, on Amazon and EBay. Here are a few links to try.
