Possibly replacement lamp is wrong power, size, type, etc., or may be defective. Try another lamp. Also, clean and vacuum cooling fans and filters. One fan is squirrel cage type, the other is a pancake type. Lubricate each fan with a tiny drop of Z-Max or other light oil on each motor bearing. Regards.

It sounds like you have a separation issue. The material that the screen is made out of is layered on top of each other. What happens is it separates and causes the distortion/discoloration. When you press on it you are actually pushing it back together like a fly paper that doesn't want to stick anymore. There is not a fix for this other than a new tv.

Press menu and input on front of TV for 5 seconds. Green light will flash two digit code 5 times. '12' is no error(no problem.)

this sounds ilke the board maybe tring to go bad although i know it doe have colored bulbs but it has to be the circuit board this is what control the power distabution

We had this exact same thing happen to us...(heavy sigh), you may want to have a look at the sale papers. Unless of course, you still have a warranty. There's also a good sporting chance that your RC is playing games (needs new batteries?) or maybe a game console is playing games, other device connections, cable provider... These are all things we tried to trouble shoot, but our poor thing...well, we searched the sale papers. Truely hoping you just need batteries.
