Try this... Plug it in with the batter in while on mains. unplug and remove the battery Shut the computer off. re-plug the battery and restart the computer on mains. The battery is intelligent and can cause the system to fail to boot if it thinks it has failed.

try using google chrome browser(latest version) as it will have latest flash player
