Restore factory settings for a asus Eee PC 1005HA
It should have a hidden partition that contains the data for your OS, more or less press F9 while your computer is booting and look for something along the lines of Factory Default, or Factory Reset. or Reformat. Another thing you could do is use an optical drive and a windows disc to re-install everything. But you might need an external disc drive for that :(I hope this helps :)

Net book states -
- Insert the Windows XP startup disk into the floppy disk
drive, or insert the Windows XP CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, and then restart
the computer.
Click to select any options that are required to start the
computer from the CD-ROM drive if you are prompted to do so.
- When the "Welcome to Setup" screen appears, press R to
start the Recovery Console.
- If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot computer, select
the installation that you want to access from the Recovery Console.
- When you are prompted to do so, type the Administrator
password. If the administrator password is blank, just press ENTER.
- At the Recovery Console command prompt, type the following
lines, pressing ENTER after you type each line:

- Type exit to quit Recovery Console.
Your computer will restart.
Note This procedure assumes that Windows XP is installed to the
C:\Windows folder. Make sure to change C:\Windows to the appropriate
windows_folder if it is a different
location.

What is the message that you are presented when you see the "push f1 or F2 buttons" ? A lot of times it is just a dead Bios battery that retains the configuration information on your motherboard. Do you have to set the time on your clock all the time by chance?
Webcan not functioning
Hi,
It would be better if you isolate the problem if its software or hardware. Check first the driver for the webcam If its installed properly, also check the webcam switch If its turned on. Try using the software for the webcam and check If its going to work and If its going to give any message why the webcam is not working or functioning.
