One side is working
Since I do not know your technal capabilities I can not suggest that you fix it yourself. I would definitely look into finding a reputable service shop that deals with car audio. Not every electronic technician has the know how to attack or attempt such a task.
Amp or something cutting out.
Power caps store power from the battery and they feed constant power to the amp so you dont get no drainage! this could be one reason..
have you bridged both subs and wat gauge wire are you using.
these amps can only handle one bridged sub at 4ohms and this amp is recommended that u use 8gauge or higher. if your running to subs i normally reccomend using 4 gauge power wire as you get more rms power feed to the amp
you can get a power cap or anyother accersory cheap online at my suppliers.. caraudiosecurity <<

My sub woofer has recently stopped working.
If you only have the sub connected to the amp, the other speakers would still play, if they are just connected to the head unit. I would check for power and remote power to the amp, and check the ground, if those are ok, I'd say the amp is bad.
Amp burned
You might be able to have it fixed. Some amp companies make their own parts, so you would have to sent it to them. If you can find someone to diagnose the problem first, you could save yourself some money. I have repaired amps with parts from Radio Shack myself.

How to install a rocksford fosgate power 800a4
you will have to get a amp kit. run a power line from the battery to the am and a remote line from the radio to the amp then run a ground from your car from (scratch the paint off) and connect that to the amp, connect your speakers to the amp.
No power,no red light, but has power going to
Sorry to say but it's usually a blown resistor and will have to be taken in to get fixed. Just be positive that your ground has a good connection, your remote is powered, and no fuses are blown, people have missed this stuff (mostly the ground) a lot. My amps have been between 50 and 150 to get fixed, sometimes it's worth it, other times not, kinda up to you. Good luck.
My subs cut out everytime I hit a bump.
I would say the wiring, in particular the earthing for it, also check any "Compression" fixtures.and check ALL joints etc. To be sure give the actual Amp a gentle tap, and see if that brings on the fault.
I see someone asking about this amp running a
Do you know how many ohm's the two 10" subwoofers are ? That is important as there are many ways to wire multiple subs. If you dont know then post what make and model the subs are.
