Hey I recently purchased a Roland TD-4 and i have

First plug a set of headphones into the Left audio out and see if you get any sound from there... NOTE: it will only be in the left headset and this is normal. Turn up volume control... note the level will be low as this is a line output, not headset. This is a test to see if there is audio.

My phone jack doesnt work

This sounds like the control itself has failed. This is rare but could occur if the wiper in the pot is badly worn or defective. It could also be a problem with the chip driving the phones.

My roland td3 drums are playing the crash noise on

Your Xtalk filter is set too low. Refer to the owners manual for how to adjust individual triggers' sensitivity to "cross-talk" (vibrations carried from other pads)
My bet is you unplugged the crash trigger, but not the cable from the actual module (the brain). If you have a cable connected to the brain but not to a trigger, than any little bump to the end of the cable that isn't connected can be picked up as though you hit the pad normally. (play with the end of the cable a little, you'll see what I mean. It's kind of neat.)

My Roland TD-6 Bass drum

There should be a nut and a cylindrical tightener at the bottom of the spring. If you loosen these, you should be able to pull the spring up and get the ring back onto the post. Then just tighten the nuts back down to where the tension feels right.
V-Drums don't all come with the same kick pedal--in fact they are often sold seperately--but this should be enough to help you with most basic kick pedal designs.
let me know if this doesn't make sense and tell me anything else you can about the pedal itself and I'll find a picture so I know what you have. This should work though. Good luck!

Pad wont respond

Hi, had similar problem too. What i did i tested the module and by removing the plug on one of the drums and test with another, drum pad,, if it doesn't work, that means you will have to open the electrical part of the pad and test if the wires are intact. I guess that would do.

You can pass your comment for more help.

Thanks for using fixya....

It sounds like the sensor is bad in the unit... If you have only had it a few weeks, exercise your warraaanty for replacement. Repairing the piezo sensor is NOT really a DIY project.

When I power my Roland D20 up, all I get is bars

Hello. Hello. Generally the upper LCD display of bars is an indication that the internal battery is on it's way out and needs to be replaced.

Hi. Can I use the second pedal on my Roland BK5 to scale up the key one semitone at a time?

Yes, you can use the second pedal on a Roland BK-5 keyboard to transpose the key of the music that you are playing up or down by a semitone at a time. To do this, you will need to press and hold the second pedal while playing the keyboard. You can also use the transpose function in the settings menu of the BK-5 to adjust the key of the music that you are playing by a specific number of semitones.

I need a circuit diagram for a Roland MA-15D speaker please?

It's a Chinese made Roland and no service information is available as when a fault is found the main board is replaced, eliminating the need for service information. I would check that it is a stereo out jack and not mono. If it is a stereo out, check that both input phonos work. If they do, replace the faulty socket or damaged pcboard.
