nextar gps is stuck on the screen right after boot cannot navigate

This indicates a hardware failure that cannot be repaired. If in warranty with Nextar they will replace the unit - if not, you are relegated to purchasing another.

I can only suggest that you never use your home address on any GPS. If you lose it or it get stoled then who ever gets it will know where you live.Use the nearest police department.

Nextar i believe went out of business.

You will have to check at the factory website for updates, if any are available they will be there.

Go to the Nextar website and it will tell there

can you restart it ? if yes, do so and try again. Usually, it helps. If not, soft needs update.
