Why there is no backlight?

Hi:
On this model you must replace the power supply if the blown fuse was on the power supply, but the main cause for LG failure is the Y_Substain Board assembly. When measureing the voltage of the Large Capacitors, this is the primary side to the main supply, you must measure the caps form hot ground, on the AC side of the Standby transformer for correct Voltage, 66V is to low. Look at the side of the Lrg Capacitors for their voltage ratings, the Supply voltage to these should be some what near this voltage but never higher. The Y_Substain board is to the left of the power supply standing in back of the unit. Its possible its just the Y_Board gone bad, but in my experience the you should replace them both.
Ok, so i've established my
Video output of dvd player will be hooked in TV and audio/ sound wires of dvd player will go to sound system./ receiver input, this sound system/ receiver will amplify dvd player sound and drive its speakers.
Let me know any further question.

My plasma has no sound.
Ok I was looking online at your model television and there are no specifications for speakers. They keep calling it a monitor and usually the monitors do not have built-in speakers and require an additional sound system. Look around the unit and in the back and see if you see any signs of speakers. If there are small holes for the sound to come out from. Now if it does have speakers it is possible that it could be muted or the speakers are turned off in the menu settings for the television. I would buy a universal remote that is programmable for your television. If there are no speakers or you cannot get them working there should be audio out rca jacks that you could hook to a sound system. And then whatever input your telivision is set to the sound for that component will goto your sound system. My friend has a Sony ED plasma telivision(when plasma tvs first came out) and it does not have any built-in speakers.
My tv was given to
