You have a short or did not use correct fuse---many fuses aside from amperage are special----generic ones blow for no reason many times---either wrong fuse or a dead short---

Try replacing the T_Con board first. if this does not solve check the capacitors on the power supply for puffy tops, if you find some replace them with same voltage rating and Capacitance.

I had this, and it was just a small connection that was loose.

ok, phoned a technician today and he has diagnosed the y/suss board as gone and 150 to fix but cant guarantee it will fix it for good, another board may go pop z/suss . so its the local refuse collection point for it.

Check ac to the set. Plug a lamp into the same outlet to test it. If ok then check fuse on power board. If fuse ok replace the power board.

I have the same issue with my RU42PZ61, and I think it's the power supply board, but I'll take it to my repair man. He diagnoses it for $25.00, and tells me what part I need.

sounds like your deflection circuit is weak..seems a power supply issue is at hand..what documentation do you have in your possession?

The left and right Xrlt pannels are probably bad.
