I'm afraid you wont find any supplier for any new replacement parts for this unit. These no-name brands rarely provide any kind of reliable product support or customer service.
You can however find a great many of these units in various states of operation fairly cheap ($15) on EBay . Many of them however were in questionable condition and were listed "AS IS", which is EBay code for broken.
Perhaps you could order a cheap one online, have it delivered, and then take it apart yourself. Hopefully you could make at least one working unit out of all the parts you would have available.
Here is a link to a few of the items I found on EBay which you may find useful:
http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=Mintek+&_sacat=0&_odkw=Mintek+1710&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313
Just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information and items at the website indicated.
Either way, the unit is certainly not worth the money it would cost to bring the unit in to be repaired by a technician. A shop would charge you at least $40 labour just to look at it, which is probably approaching the entire initial purchase price of the unit.
If you are unable to do the repairs yourself with the spare parts from EBay, then I would just dispose of the unit altogether. Next time buy a good brand name product like SONY who offer superior products and excellent customer support.
Good luck.
