GBC appear to just be a crappy company. I have a Heatseal H212, same problem. Worked fine then one day when I turned it on it never became "ready". I waited a while longer then turned it off.. except it wouldn't let me turn it off. I had to unplug it from the mains to get it off. After that, it would never turn on. Checked the fuse, it was fine.

So this is how you remove the fuse that's underneath the machine, under the power button? Thanks!!

You may have the film tension set too tight or a pulley has come loose from the drive train. The drive train is behind the right cover.

first, remove both rollers with the film on them, then I usually cut the film between the red/orange rollers and the rear gray rollers, this allows you to run the laminator in either forward or reverse to unwrap the laminator, there is not exact science here, just use common sense and don't use anything sharp up against the rollers. go to youtube and watch the video on GBC ultima65 film loading. sounds like you are not using a threading card to load laminator. Manila File folders work great to load laminators Westco Laminating Svcs 405-324-6092

Your key panel membrane is going bad, very simple to replace. Westco Laminating Svcs, 405-324-6092

First, you must take out 4 screws out of the cover on each side of the laminator , then you will see the screws that hold the back panel onto the laminator. West Laminating secs 405-324-6092

The Circuit breaker is located on the underside of the machine near where the electrical cord goes into the laminator. West Laminating Svcs 405-324-6092

Could have a bad heat lamp, do your adhesive feel tacky on any of the rollers? Are you may have a bad triac

most likely, someone has unscrewed the thumbscrews in the right side "collar". Best thing you can do is loosen both thumbscrews on the both collars, push the film on the shaft as far left as you can. then tighten both screws back down as tight as you can by hand. then grab the film and push the entire assembly to the right as it's spring loaded to the right. once it clears the keyed shaft holder on the left, just lift up and out. the right side collar screw should never be loosed. it just causes problems. I fix roll laminators for a living. Its best with GBC machines to remove wraps where the film is stuck to the roller hot. trying to remove ilm adhered to the roller cold can not jusst remove the film but the rubber roller surface.
