No you can't. This is usually caused by thermal shock, running cold water on a pan that you have just been frying in. Lagostina have various standards of pans, I am guessing yours is the standard aluminum sort? The better ones are stainless steel with a stainless steel copper sandwich ion the bottom. Of course these are not non-stick.

When was the last time you preformed any internal maintenance? All heavy duty cooking/food prep equipment requires mechanical maintenance just like a car or truck as those internal motors are pretty high amperage to be able to perform under heavy loads.
There's usually some kind of access panel or port where you'll add the food grade grease/lubricant for the internals. If you've never performed any kind of maintenance you may have to take it down to the gears and wipe away the old grease/metal shavings before applying the new grease.

Hard Boiled Eggs...Fire and Forget

If you have a electric kettle with an auto shutoff making hard boiled eggs will never be easier!

Fill the kettle 1/2 way with cold water and add 6 or less small-medium eggs and then turn on the kettle and just walk away! When you're finished whatever you had to do you can come back 1/2 hour later or more and your eggs will be finished, just like that!

Chutney is very forgiving, so recipes are going to be approximate. But if you want to stick to it, you'll have to guess at the volume of the raisins, dates and carrots you're not using and add that to your 1/2 of liquid. Remember that all of those veggies have a certain amount of liquid themselves, which releases when they're cooked.

Step 1 Open the rice cooker by unclipping the locks which are on the edge of the lid. Remove the lid and pan insert.
Step 2 Place the rice and water into the pan.
Step 3 Replace the pan insert, ensuring that the ridged edges and handles are facing upwards.
Step 4 Close the lid and lock it into position by securing the lid clips.
Step 5 Place the rice cooker into a microwave and cook, on high power, for approximately seven minutes.
Step 6 Remove from the oven and allow the rice to stand for a further five minutes.
Step 7 Remove the lid and insert. Gently stir the rice and serve it immediately.

My wife says the the pressure would depend upon your elevation where you live. The pressure would be higher if you live at seal level, lower if you are above 5,000 feet. If it has meat, 90 minutes. If no meat, less. Good luck.
