change the Lock Code, follow these steps

Press "UP" or "DOWN" button RESET LOCK CODE
Press RIGHT or LEFT button to operate
The Lcck Icon appears.
Press ZERO to access the Lock Code
The first digit will be highlighted
Press RIGHT or LEFT button to seelct the number.
Press UP or DOWN BUTTON to move to the next digit
Continue to follow these directions for all four numbers
Press UP or DOWN button To FINISH
Press RIGHT or LEFT button to save settings and exit
Your new Lock Code is now set.

NOISE INSIDE TELEVISION
Hello
If it is a whisiling noise insdie your TV, it is due to the fault of its LOT [Line Output Transformer]. There is nor remedy other than replacing it with a new one of same type and number. Along with it, you have to replace the horizontal output transistor also, that dirive the above said LOT. Horizontal output trnaisotor can be located very near to the LOT, screwed on to a metal heatsink, and it is a three terminal component, black in colour.
There is another type of noise originates inside the telivision is Anode Cap Arcing. Anode cap is one, the fitted ot the picutre tube, like a rubber ******, and a wire comes from the above said LOT. It can be replaced with an other one, if available as spare in your country. If it not avilable as spare, you have to replace the entire LOT as a unit itsef.
f you want further more clarification, feel free to get me through Fixya. OK.
Deadset
There are many contributary reasons but the most common is dry joints on the feedback side of the power supply unit that sometimes kills the line timebase.
The main fuse on the power supply main board may be blown and replacing it is worth a try after checking for dry joints.
The on/off switches have been known to fail in the off position, check for power to the power supply.
All power related components are safety rated devices and MUST be replaced with approved spare parts.
Hope this helps.
No green and yellow colour
Hello
If you see the picture in yellow colour, means that there is no blue colour output from the video drive section in your tv, Yello is the mixtrure colour of red and green. Green is actualy there. blue colour is absent.
To detect this fault, you must open your tv. Just look in to the video output section, can be located at the picture tube base card, which is plughed into it diretly. See for any loose soldering points there. Check whether transisotors are used for red, green and blue output stages, or an Ic or three seperate Ics are used for this purpose. Anyway, blue catode of your picture tube pin gets a hig voltage, and so the blue emission is absent. You just check the voltages at red, gree and blue catodes, at the respective picture tube pins, which can be taken at picture tube base card. All of these three pin voltages must be somewhat equal to each other. In your case, no voltage at blue cathode will be higher that the other two. Check for the reason. It may be due to an open video output transistor [blue], or an Ic, of one Ic if used for the three colour outputs. Check and replace the same, will rectify your problem. Ok
If you have andy difficulty, get it to me through Fixya. Ok

The sound and everything works
This is a somewhat older set but it is a common problem and usually easy to fix.
Set uses a vertical output IC chip---7-13 pins and it is black and fairly small and will have number like LA7838 etc on the front of it (most LA series chips are for vertical. It is attached with a screw to a small metal plate to keep it cool (called a heat sink).
9 out of ten times the problem is the solder connections on the bottom of the board where it is soldered in have come loose from heat and age.
Once the board is out--10 minute job, I have done hundreds of them in my career.
If this told you something you did not know rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.
If you have questions make a comment here and I will assist you.

Hi.
Use the display button, or use Menu>Display button on remote. Here a diagram of the remote:
Note: if the picture is bowed at the sides or at top and bottom, and you have two bands, that is not a setting problem. In that case the convergence ICs have blown and must be replaced by a technician.
Here a repair manual for this set.

It sounds as though you can see Transmission lines which are sent out with any broadcast at the top of an image, The TV should normally blank these out, i suggest checking your horizontal and vertical settings

JVC AV27230 had a bright white screen with lines
You may have a power supply issue and at the flyback transformer .
There also may be components in the circuit surrounding the fly-back that are malfunctioning.
The issue points to a repair at the board level. A tech will be able to determine this with test where the issue is on the main board.
I hope this helps.
JVC AV-27770 has lost vertical
Hi ken
To answer your question;
As far as opening the set goes: you just have to remove all the screws in sight on the back cover and pull out gently.
I have`nt got any picture of the inside of the set itself but a picture of the vertical output i.c.
This i.c will be mounted on a heathsink near the center of the chassis.
It will have a number like LA7838 or 7837 , the exact number does`nt matter in your case since it`s about bad solder and they look the same and have the same function.
Just be careful not to bridge the terminals(solder between two terminals) when you resolder the legs or terminals.
Let me know if you need help once you`re there.
Hope this help Cheers
