Convergence
did you replace the convergence resistors with the ICs? The resistors often get increased resistance when the ICs go out and if they dont get replaced you can have a next to impossible time adjusting the convergence properly, as they have to be within 5% tolerance. You can get the resistor kit for your JVC at the following link. Its Called JVC convergence resistor kit #1. Heres the link.

Video Inputs not working
Did you have the back of the tv open while the poer plug was plugged into the wall? If so the set will need some serious repairs as that model has a safety feature where if the back cover is removed without removing the plug from the wall it wipes out all the digital and video circuits. You have to defeat the safety feature before removing the back panel, and if you plug it in even for a second with the back removed the damage is done.

Convergence IC"S
not unless you damaged the board, & theres no part of it have to be soldered and circuit is damaged, then it could be needed a new board.. but try to check if theres something to correct into your soldered parts and correct it again using a soldered pump to remove the bad solder.
thanks

check the resistors right next to the ICs usually the 1.5ohm resistors will open when the ICs go out
