Player is increasingly unable to read new dvds. Cause?

Sometimes it is due to a dirty read lens in the unit. More often it is due to newer DVDs having newer security encryption algorithms that the older units are not compatible with. You may want to check to see if there are any firmware upgrades for your unit that may bring it more up to date on the current encryption standards.

Region Code errors

You can read everything on dvdexploder.com about region free options with every brand. BUT you only get four of five chances. Frankly, I would download Anydvd from Slysoft.com and get everything region free from then on.

Hi,

Good day. The message your getting only tells you that the Dvd your trying to play have a lot of scratches already that makes it unreadable for your dvd player. You can try to wipe the dvd first then try it again. If it doesn't work then that means the dvd unusable. Hope this information help a bit in resolving your question. Dvd player says no disk

does it read other disks?
try a few difference DvD's.
if other disks work, the disk you want to read is broken.
if other disks do not work, your dvd player is broken and you should get a new one or contact JVC if it is still under warranty.

I used my Pioneer DVD-RAM

Hi, You can try testing the discs on a different player. The problem may be with a scratched disc or damaged disc. The player seems to be fine if it works with other discs. In any case, I have provided a link to the player's manual: http://tv.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/jvc/jvc_xv_n320b_xvn320b.html

Lock

Hi there,

The disc lock function has been activated on your JVC XV-N320, when in this mode the tray cannot be opened or closed.

If you press the 'eject' button whilst pressing down the 'stop' button on the machine in standby mode the disc lock will deactivate. To turn it back on you follow the same procedure. This is also described in the user manual for this model of TV umder trouble shooting on page 13.

Hope this helps,

James

I downloaded a movie on my computer. I burnt the

The exact model of DVD player matters. Not all models can play a Computer burned disc.
There are several types of DVD
A factory type DVD in DVD format
A burned movie in MPEG format
a burned disc in DivX format.
Etc.
Try burning the disc with a DVD Creator program, not just 'Burn to DVD'. It's not the same thing.

How long you've been using it? I'm afraid you've reached the end of your DVD's laser pick up.

I want to buy a Tevion combi TV/DVD player Manual

Go here http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/company/contact_us.htm

Tevion is mainly sold in Aldi, but your set could be made by Schnieder.

Aldi customer support has always been very good, they may offer you a link to download a manual.

After googling for a while, i could find no documents that relate to your model.

I cannot get my machine

Hi.

The best performance will be obtained using component cables and analog audio cables.

In this case you will use video component cable that are the ones in Red-Green-Blue color, and audio cables, that are the red and white cables.

Connect the red and white to analog audio out on the GVC, connect them to analog audio in on TV.

Connect the three red green blue to video out on the correspondent sockets on JVC, same on TV.

Alternative ways to connect are SCART:

And analog AV cable connection, using the Red-White cables for sound and the Yellow cable for video:

The bottom picture is the JVC, the cable at the left is the yellow Video cable. The two cables in the right column connector are the audio, White and Red.

Regards.

When you try to open the dvd player locked is

Are you using it for the first time? If so, connect a TV to the DVD output, follow the instructions to set the language. If the unit was functional and it happened recently, then unplug the unit, remove the top cover, inspect all the ribbon connectors are inserted properly (especially the ones with the ferrite beads). Be careful not to rip them.
