Loewe CAL232 TV - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hello,

My LOEWE CAL 232 will not power up. When the power button is pressed, the monitor turns on, with the LOEWE on the monitor, then the TV continues with the previous activity (antenna, DVD, VCR etc.). Now all that happens is

1. the red light comes on

2.after about 1 second the green light turns on for about 12 seconds

3. the the green light turns off for about 1 second

4. then the green light turns on again for about 12 seconds

and this continues until the power button is pressed to turn the TV off. During this time, the monitor does not turn on and the only sound I hear seems to eminate from the power button.

Any thoughts?

Mine did that, I had to buy a new one. Hgregg or whatever has some GREAT Tvs,

I found an original replacement remote for a Loewe ARC332PB at remotes.com

Hello sorry to bother you but my smart tv keeps saying there is no signel been like this for 3 weeks now

Why not?

Check your Remote for a size button or a width button. I find it on all hdtv's remotes.

Check low voltage power supply.

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size./

Download an instruction manual for your universal remote and follow the instructions closely.
