hi! just a tip hope it would help. if you have a white gear on to your tv it is either updating or probably something is wrong with the cable box. if the gear still present after a couple of mins try to do a hard reset on the cable box by pressin the power button for 10 seconds. if still doesnt work try to unplug and then replug the cable box like after 10 seconds, if still doesnt work reset the gateway but let me remind you that your internet and tv connection may be out for a couple of minutes, if still doesnt work then ill be advisin you to call ATT for further assistance, hope this would help. Depending on how you have it set up, and what inputs you have on your TV/surround sound system, you can connect your surround sound through HDMI or optical cables. Otherwise, you can use standard composite (red, white, yellow) or component (red, green, blue).

Try checking to see if it has a sleep timer that is on,
if so set it to o min.

Ur LCD inverter board is dead.Musst replaced this board will get ur picture back.The board is a long board.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to get the board part.

What is the question here?

You may have bad backlight inverter board or the main power supply is not suppling the power (around 24vdc) to the inverter circuits.

That means Power Supply board seems defective and requires replacement.
Please local TV tech for fix or let me know if you need further info.
