u can go to av input by simply pressing the VIDEO button on ur remote. when first time u press the first input may select. press again and again until u get desired input. normally rca input may be video 1 , or video 2 . first check which input are u using. select the same using remote. To return to tv mode just press TV button on the remote.

Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series. Please post back what you find.

My ILO TV has a source selection that can select where the signal input is coming from that I want to display. Do you have the sat hooked up to an HDMI input? If so try selecting that. If you do have the option of using HDMI - buy a cable and hook it up between the sat (assuming it does support hdmi) and the ILO (mine does, and it about 5 years old). This is the least problematic way to make it work.

first please check the socket of your AC cord and try another electronic device on the same socket, IF it is not turning on.then there is no problem in your television and if it is turning on then please check the AC CORD of your television if the problem persist call the technician becouse if you touch the plugged television cord it may result of electric shock...So i request to call the technician

Hi! Yes, this is a very common problem for this model of ILO TV. It is due to a problem on the controller board inside the set. I actually bought one of these with the idea of fixing it, and it took 6 months of research to figure out the problem. If you are technically capable, or if you have a TV shop in your area where the set could be disassembled, I might be able to help. Let me know.

I had the same problem with my unit. The problem is the MAIN Board. I am trying to find a company who sells this so I can replace. When I do I will Post it.

The plug is the same plug that powers your desktop pc or monitor. I do not know if Radio Shack carries it but you will find it on E-bay. Type "pc power cord" when searching. I know this because I have same unit and my PC power cord are interchageable. Hope this helps.

Call your service provider and report this problem. This may be their problem and not yours. They may be able to fix it remotely. J.

This model will require a digital converter box to receive the digital OTA channels since it has an NTSC instead of an ASTC tuner.

You may have accidentally pressed 'Favorite' on the remote which will lock the controls. Try pressing 'Favorite' to unlock the controls.

Most likely either the power for the inverter or the inverter itself have gone bad.

Need exact TV model to help more, this one did not yield results in my search.

It could be flexy cabels bad conections.

Fail safe circuit is indicating a voltage mismatch or leak on poere or sustain board ( capacitors blown) Needs immediate attention to prevent fire.

First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board.
if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there are some troubleshoot you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having.

Hello, tries unplug the tv and the cable box about an hour and replug both.See if the tv reset it self and the cable box reboot it software.Not,than the Tuner board is dead,that the board the coalax signal cable plug into it to get the broadcasting signal.
