I believe your set uses the same cord as a computer, radio shack will have it.

Buy an rca universal at wal mart (model rcr312w) $8.00 fix.  Just follow the Auto Scan instructions, it worked for my 26" ilo today.

I just got the same remote to work.  I did the auto scan method in the instructions.  turn on the tv, hold the tv and power button on the remote down until it stays lit.  Then press the play button, the remote will blink 10 times, press play again and the tv should turn off in a few blinks.  then when the remote finishes blinking, press the reverse button until the tv turns on again, when the tv turns on, press the stop button.  Hope this helps!

Sound like you have a dry joint or a failing component. Only a TV Technician will be able to diagnose and let you know what is happening.

The Directv web site has only one code to try for the ILO TV. 10171
Does that code work on the TV?

I finally found a direct tv remote code for my Ilo television. It was 10171. Others you can try that were for Direct TV remote: 10154 10236 10463 10180 10178 10019 10177 10623 10179

all you need to do is buy a control board its a 15 dollar part try shop jimmy .com

i just found a power cord took me like 3 months but heres the web site LCDPAYLESS.com make sure its a 6 volt charger though and the guy is nice, i paid almost 80 dollars and it was here within a week any more questions j hit me up.

I had this same problem (power supply). If you are reasonably skilled with a screwdriver, you can fix this for $70. Contact TMX Logistics 915-772-5991 ext. 1653, they will give you a number to ilo to get a case number (I have lost number they gave me). Then call TMX again and they will fax you a form. Fill out form and fax back to them. Then call TMX again to order part with credit card. Part number is 6693006610. Here is a link to a service manual for your TV with detailed instructions on disassembly.

All of the parts are modular, so it is fairly simple.

I received the part from TMX 4 days after ordering it (FEDEX ground) and finished the repair in about 20 minutes yesterday. The above pic is the TV hanging on my bedroom wall today.

I gained all of this info after frantic search on the internet and numerous calls to various service centers. Hope it saves somebody some legwork.

you can buy several styles of learning remotes where you can face the remotes at each other and program the keys to a new remote. look for that feature when buying your universal.

The main TV board (the digital board) should not have anything to do with this. If there is a fault, then the faulty part is eventually the IR sensor on TV, or if buttons on tv do not work, the touch button board.

Try first unplugging the TV for ten minutes from power and see if it works afterward.

Ensure that there is no button stuck.

If it is not that then it can be a faulty touch button switch on TV controls.
