How do I clear the memory on a Canon CFX-L4000 Fax
Press the dataregistration button,press set.Scroll until you find tx settings,press set.Scroll with the arrows untill you find (erase failed tx)
Press set and change it to on.All the memory of the failed tx reports will be cleared and the memory will be 100 percent available.
How do i delete memory
Lift the panel press data registration then press #. Press the down arrow to test and press set and set again. this will perform a memory test and wipe out the contents that hold the documents while leaving the speed dial memory.

that code is a fixing heater code, may need to replace fuser heat roller
It is impossible to enter
Turn the printer off, unplug the cord from printer, take the cover off, you might need to remove 2 silver screws from the inside the top cover and 2 black plastic srews, you will see the white lever on back left rear with spring on it. This lever is stuck in the up position. You can manually turn this white clutch to make the white lever drop back where it belongs. This shoul help.

now exit from menu and whenever you send a fax a trasmission report will be generate automatically
How do I silence the
Look above the "stop" button there is little speaker drawn witht the ring volume values.Move it to the left to lower the power of the ringing.
