Hi , get someone to check the power supply something is wrong could be some capacitor have blown etc . just check the power supply the problem is there.

screen connections, not a job for the amiture as it relates to the screen connections on the ribbon, you need to remove screen, then with a large area to work with thats flat remove the screen casing and then remove the boards and then the screen ( paper thin) this is the dangerous part as you can brake the screen or even cut yourself. you need to remove screen and place down on a large flat area (padded flat) and you will see the ribbons on the side of the screen. you need a heat gun or soldering heat gun and heat them up and without moving the alignment push down on them so they stick back down, a roller helps as keeps the air from getting stuck in the seal, after put some heat tape over the connection/s each line relates to a connection on the screen. when refitting put pads that are the right size and shape over the connections before fitting the case, then the problem will not happen again with the screen but like i say its not for the amiture to do as it takes patients to remove screen and you have to keep it level at all times or it will crack.

Test LED output voltage, if its missing look at the power board as being bad, also test the PWM voltage and make sure its between 2 and 4 volts, if its not correct the main board may be bad.

It could be the eprom but its a difficult part to replace without a lot of soldering experience, I would change the board. Measure the PSON or PWRON, or how ever they have it labeled to see if you have a voltage change there when the power button is pushed.

i guess you burnt the power already or check the plug and change the fuse in the plug . see what happens

with that age it will need a good clean out, just and the mirrors cleaning, thats the first part, mabe needs a new bulb. and the color wheel will need looking into to make sure its not faded, you need a non smear cleaner, alcohol base, as it will dry better and lint free cloths, to clean the chamber out but dont use on the colour wheel as this will damage it, when its all cleaned then have a see how it displays, it should be better. lence is safe to clean with the alcohol cleaner. just make sure you don't dislodge anything, and take it slow removing the light chamber and mirrors.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Look thru the set up menu and see if there is an ambient light setting that adjusts the brightness of the TV based on the light level in the room. If there is then turn it off.

Do a hard reset to this TV, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). Take a flash light and shine it on the tv screen at an angle . if you see any picture then the problem is with the backlight or the power supply for the back light. if you see nothing then the problem is somewhere else. it can be the T-con board or the lcd panel itself.

First, test fuse if there is one. Second check high voltage near 390 to 400 DC volts at the capacitor. Hopefully, there is only one capacitor.. The high voltage circuit is near where the AC 120 volts plug enters the TV. So, without high voltage, TVs are shutdown. Today's TVs are like computers, sensors on the circuit boards, feed back to a "CPU".
