Power supply board damage, check capacitors and inverter components

Check the volumn up switch, use vacuum cleaner to clean it, else might be dust or insects inside the pcb where the volumn circuit is.

tv goes into standby all the time if a power supply is not fine, what happens is that a power supply produces two voltages, one small one powers a standby components and bigger voltage powers a line transformer which later produces more small voltages,
then later cancels the first small voltage.

chec your power supply semi conductors like, transistors, diodes and small value resistors, on your power supply. some power supply uses a IC to oscillate a ht. so check a supply at a w/shop.

Check and replace its tuner.

next time you are moving a tv, make sure that
a tv is on a soft surface,
there is a dry joint on the card because of vibration onthe card.
take your tv to a w/shop for service.
that problem will be over. ok

dont fear the smoke behind. firstly open your tv. get a brush and clean the in side,it might be other particals dropped in side.
you are able to see where the smoke is coming from.
a qualified tech will solve that without wasting time on it.

what you are trying to find is a frequency of the power supply, in my country we use 50Hz
but for you turn your tv at the back it is written on the cover of the tv.
that will help what you need. ok

there is another supply missing from your power supply, chec your components on that power supply a ht of 90volts is missing,
check all active components like transistors,diodes and resistors with very small values,
if you go through you are going to win that problem, ok.

open the tv and check for dry joints on the jacks of AVS, if no dry joint is found
the ariel in put is different from AV inputs
change the AV in IC. AT THE W/SHOP

Try these simple trick to find out yor remote control working or not....
Point the remote control towards the Camera of a Mobile Camera phone,with the camera on. While pressing remote, we can see a light (Infra Red) coming from its IR LED through the Mobile Camera if the Remote is working.
If the problem with the component that mentioned by you, write down the Number written on that and replace it with the same by the help of a Soldering Iron.
Also see the writing near to it for finding out what the component is.... For eg. C=Capacitor, R=Resistor, TR or Q=Transistor, IC=Chip, D=Diode etc.

There is a problem in the Vertical sweep circuit. it could be a bad capacitor, a resistor that changed value or the vertical output IC.. These sets have no user replaceable parts inside of them as all the parts are soldered into place. If your not good with solid state brepairs, you will need to find a servicer to assist you with this repair. Good luck PS please do not forget to rate this.

Did you try pushing the On button of the set? New batteries for the remote? Power Reset, unplug from the wall socket, press and hold the power button for one minute, plug it back in?
