The fact that ALL keys except G's and D flats are not working, points to a possible matrix or multiplexing problem. As shown in the simplified schematic, if any traces (PCB tracks) from the mutiplexer / controller IC are broken, eg if the board has a crack, this could disable all identical notes for all octaves. Firstly determine that the power supply you are using is providing the correct voltage, check with a multimeter. If it is correct then you need to open the piano. Look inside where the power plugs in check the little black socket and ensure that there are no breaks where this is soldered to the circuit board - very common problem. If so resolder or replace socket. Does turning the switch on make the red light come on - if not and socket is soldered correctly - suspect the switch - check continuity wilth multimeter, if switch is ok check voltage across pins 1 & 5 on CN2 on board this should read around 12v. if this doesnt show a voltage it is easier just to replace the whole DCIN board # WM227400

It looks like standard1/4" TRS connector. Tip-Ring-Sleeve. What are you trying to hook it up to? A standard guitar cord might work, but you'll get mono.

Try local Yamaha dealer. They may not make house calls, few people these days do.What you might try if you are up to the challenge is flip the keyboard over- unplug it. remove the screws that hold the top and bottom shells together- do not let weight of unit rest on keys, especially when opening it up.Look for physical damage to the keyboard action in the vicinity of the nonfunctional section. Check for broken printed circuit board. If you see any cracks, see where it ends and drill a small hole at the end of the crack to halt propagation. clean the varnish off the circuit tracks and tin the broken tracks first on either side of the break then bridge them with solder. Use a modest sized soldering iron and small diameter (rosin core only) solder. If there are any broken wire connections, resolder them. This may require part of the action to be removed from case- take pictures first before proceeding- make sure they show exactly where the connectors are and what wires are present. etc. You want to be able to refer to the pictures in the event you forget details of disassembly.If nothing looks out of place, look for solder joints that do not appear to have flown out nicely- reflow them adding a little solder.

First of all they are metric fasteners. The best thing to do is measure the diameter of the hole with a metric of English ruler, then measure the depth of it with something skinny Using that info go to a hardware store and look for a fastener that fits the description. There are going to be different thread sizes. Get one of each and try them out to see what is the right one.
