Watch your impedance, when you add speakers the impedance will change. example 8 ohm speaker placed in parallel with another 8 ohm speaker the impedance is 4 ohms, placed in series the it is 16 ohm Me I would place in parallel this mixer should handle 3 ohms

What your amp is doing is going into protection mode. The Class D amplifier topology uses a Pulse width modulation scheme which allows the audio to be modulated onto a generated square wave or pulse train. This is then sent through the MOSFET Driver and then to the High Power MOSFETs that drive the load. The square wave with modulated audio is then filtered by a low pass filter and you are left with your audio. This is great because of the very high efficiency. The downside is that there are more links in the chain to fail. In your case it sounds like one or both of your power MOSFETs are bad and are causing the watchdog circuit to send a shutdown signal to the switching power supply, this is why it is turning off. It is a safety feature to prevent catastrophic failure of the board. (ie. burning the PCB to a crisp) A technician experienced in PCB level troubleshooting shoot be able to repair this for you. Output B amplifier has a problem. Most likely the output transistor.

Specify the full fuse ratings please. Internal fuses come in all shapes and sizes.

Read the manuals for both the mixer and the active speakers. If you do not have the manuals, download them from the manufacturers websites. If you don't know hw to use equipment, don't buy it.

Hi, the power light should not "blink" at any point. It should always be either on or off when either powered on or off. Sounds as though the internal toroidal transformer has gone faulty (common issue) and requires replacemnet by a professional.

Clean the sockets and switches with a good contact cleaner.

It sounds like a n overheating problem. Some component is running too hot and shutting down. This will not be a user servicable problem and it needs to go into the shop. Discuss it with the shop when you take it in to be sure they will have access to the parts they need. Behringer is notoriously slow to ship parts so if it's an exclusively Behringer part as compared to a general electronic part you may have to consider replacing the unit depending on what time frame you have to work with.

There has to be some internal problem for a fuse to blow. Putting in a bigger fuse can only cause more problems.

Looking at pictures on line, you'll nee to remove the electronics panel - take out the screws around the rear edge at the back & the 3 at the top, behind the handle / in front of the panel. I would expect the panel to come out thru' the rear..... Be aware of the speaker lead - could be a bit short so you may need to disconnect it. Once the electronics panel (mixer & amp etx) is clear you should be able to get your hand inside / under the handle & undo the bolts. There's a possibility the if the handle is held on with bolts then there could be "blind" or "Tee" nuts under, so undoing the handle screws may be all you need to do? Take care though, because if they're normal nuts they could drop off into the gubbins! Good Luck!

In my opinion, due to the physical appearance of pmp4000 and pmp3000 look the same, it will most likely also have a common circuit and parts list (at least, most). Usually Behringer (and all the manufacturers), with the same series / sequence, using the same circuit, the difference is the number of channels only.
