Yes, an aux jack is looking for a powered input. An electric guitar is just a passive input, like a microphone. If you're interested, a solution and a great upgrade would be to get a wireless guitar input (battery powered). The wireless receiver would likely have an RCA output that would work with your receiver. Solves your preamp problem and you have a wireless guitar.

Try a master reset to start with. Turn keyboard off Turn on whilst holding down highest note on keyboard Once screen display has complete release key This will reset to factory settings. If this doesn't work report back and we can maybe try other solutions. Dan Becketts Music Ltd

This might sound obvious but first of all I would try an older smaller flashdrive. Some large versions are not supported by certain keyboard. Try a simple midi file or similar with a smaller drive, if that works then it could either a procedural error in the way you are completing the task or that the larger drive is not supported. Hi I don't think this is anything to worry about. If you kept the batteries (or leave it connected to power adaptor) in the keyboard then this would hold the recordings, key settings in memory. When you shut down without power still being applied it flushes the memories. See page attached from manual. I hope this helps Becketts Music Ltd

My Yamaha P85 had a no sound problem too. I replaced the two 100uf capacitors at locations C216 and C217 on the board where the DC power plug connects. Fixed it right up.

Models differ, but when we had a similar issue, replacing the power cord did the trick. We almost didn't check it because the lights were coming on; there must have been enough power to light the lights but not play the sound ! hope that helps!

'1' for Classical Style, '2' for all styles, '3' for Rock and Roll 5.) After you've made a selection, the screen should start flashing "SAVE" 6.) Answer by pressing the "YES" button
